The CCFC Collaborative has positioned itself as a local body of agency and community individuals focusing on networking and relationships; connecting both the general public to partners and partners to each other. CCFC began in 2010 bringing various partners to the table to discuss community issues. For the first few years, CCFC was actively working on helping individuals gain a GED or employment through collaboration. CCFC shifted the focus on poverty and ways to assist individuals, and families, break the cycle of poverty and reach self-sufficiency through partner engagement. CCFC has also worked on reaching parents of children ages 3-5 and not enrolled in school to increase school readiness and success. For FY’22 CCFC will be working on community-wide mental health issues. CCFC also works on transportation issues, works collaboratively with local emergency food providers, provides a Resource Guide, and holds annual events.
